8th Commencement Exercises

“WE are a LYCEAN, WE can do this.” this is the message delivered of Mr. James Alvis, an HRM graduate, cum laude of Lyceum, during the celebration of the 8th Commencement Exercises held in Philippine International Convention Center at Pasay City on March 29, 2012.

Sec. Joel Villanueva, Director of TESDA, keynote speaker of the culminating activity, gave an inspirational talk and left a challenge to the graduates. “FIND YOUR OWN CALCUTTA”, and “MAKE A DIFFERENCE”, are some of the memorable passages of Sec. Villanueva that boosted the inner spirit of the graduates  to soar into a greater height of success. Dir. Cecilia Amaro, Director of TESDA-MUNTIPARLAS-TAPAT was in the event who inspired the graduates as well.

The event was highlighted with graduates who passed the National Certification in Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) in the area of Housekeeping NC II, Bartending NC II, Commercial Cooking NC II, Food and Beverage NC II, Consumer Electronics NC II, and Computer Hardware Servicing NC II.

Commencement is not the end of all your hard work. Instead, it is the beginning of facing the real world. Don’t be afraid, just believe in yourself because you are a LYCEAN.
