Five years ago, NESCAFE 3in1 changed the local music scene when it unleashed Soundskool – the first nationwide battle of the bands for college students. With the battle cry “Handa ka na bang sumikat?” reverberating from its core, the youth responded with resounding “OO!” From a few hundred entries in 2005 to 2,300 in 2009, Soundskool has proven that music has, and will always be, the language that the youth speaks. Continuously inspiring and pushing the boundaries. Soundskool amps up 2010 with bigger prizes and a new judging system that puts the fate of a band in the hands of the school population.

April’s Fool band, our school representative band, joined NESCAFE 3in1 Soundskool 2010. They have been made it to the top 30 Qualifiers over thousand of song entries of compositions of every band nationwide (see details http://www.nestle.com.ph/nescafe

/nescafe3in1/soundskool/) and they will go on October 2, 2010 in SM North Edsa Skydome to play their song with the title “Nandito lang ako” and “Harana” (cover song).
