Catch a rising star: CTHM take the stage in Groove ‘n Grind
The Lyceum of Alabang (LOA) introduced the “Groove ‘n Grind” Hip Hop Dance Contest performed by the students from the Senior High School (SHS) Strands and the different College Departments held at the Danilo V. Ayap (DVA) Gymnasium, 2nd of October, as the part of their 14th Foundation Day celebration.

The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) dominated the competition and seized the dance floor as they performed their feminine-like tone and stage mastery and pumping dance moves. Their pink long-sleeved suit added depth to the spice of their elastic maneuvers.

The 1st runner-up was grabbed by the College of Business Management Education (BME). Wearing their funk-style black jacket and gray shorts with the combination of yellow dyed hair, executed their hypnotizing, and synchronized movements.
Meanwhile, wearing their “maong” long-sleeved jacket, the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) bagged the 2nd runner-up position as they presented their whipping and unexpected whisky dance moves.

The merged College of Education and the College of Criminology (EDUCRIM) and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CCSE) performed their classic hip hop exhibition with a comical and entertaining presentation.

The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) grand-slammed the SHS Division of “Groove ‘n Grind” Hip Hop competition as they performed their combined slick flicking sequence of movements. Also, the other groups of students from different SHS Strands did not miss the opportunity to showcase their talent in dancing.

In between group performances, the ALTA Dance Troupe, wearing neon pink, presented their special dance number and at the request of Lyceans, judges Renzo Serrano Nuncio, Dhie – Jhay Sosa Aguinaldo, Jason Carlo Luise Arnasan, emblazoned their expertise in dancing.
